A Heartfelt Thank You — Celebrating Our First Weeks on the Road
When we rolled our beautifully restored 1960s London Routemaster out onto Auckland’s streets, we hoped people would smile. We hoped a few travellers and locals might climb aboard, take in the skyline, and fall in love with the city from a new perspective.
What we didn’t expect was the wave of enthusiasm, support, and five-star reviews that has met us since launch. From the bottom deck to the top, from our drivers and guides to everyone behind the scenes — thank you.
🚍 The First Days of a Dream
In our first few weeks, Vintage Views has welcomed families, cruise passengers, couples on date nights, photography fans, and even a few nostalgic Londoners who recognised “Dorothy,” our lovingly restored Routemaster.
Every tour has been filled with laughter, stories, and cameras clicking as we passed Auckland’s most iconic sights — the Sky Tower, Harbour Bridge, Mission Bay, the Museum, Parnell, and the Viaduct Harbour.
Many of you told us that this was the most memorable hour of your visit. Others said it reminded them of a time when travel was slower, simpler, and full of charm. That’s exactly what we hoped to create — a city tour that feels timeless.
